Meredith is the author of Feed Them Wisely, a website providing recipes and researched perspectives to help people eat better and buy healthier products for their families.
On Feed Them Wisely, Meredith investigates topics related to ingredients, growing conditions, product labels, and food processing, and also provides scientifically researched opinions on the impact of what we consume on our health.
Previously, Meredith led research & development projects for a major consumer products company, where her work focused on using innovative science to design new consumer products that help improve people’s health and quality of life.
Meredith was also a post-doctoral researcher at the National Institutes of Health, where she investigated how the environment of adult stem cells affects their differentiation.
Meredith has a PhD in Chemistry from Duke University where her doctoral research focused on biocompatible polymers and their application in anti-cancer drug delivery.
Meredith is a mother of two boys and so every day tries to find creative and delicious ways to feed her family wisely.
